June 2021 premieres on Amazon Prime Video

Summertime is coming, and so are new movies and TV shows to the Amazon Prime Video vast catalog. Below, you can check out a selection of the best TV shows and movies coming to Amazon Prime Video in June 2021, as well as the complete list of what will be available.

An American Werewolf in London is still considered as one of the best horror comedies ever made. It’s ultimately a bleak, gut-punch of a movie that basically says that nothing – not ever friendship or romance – will save you in the end. No matter what you do, you’ll still end up dead and naked in a dark alley somewhere. Anyway, American Werewolf still holds up, and Rick Baker’s make-up effects are still impressive after all these years.

Pinocchio - in 2002, an Oscar-winning Italian actor Roberto Benigni, who’d earlier found worldwide acclaim with Life is Beautiful, produced, written and directed his most harrowing film yet - a live-action version of his home country’s most beloved children’s novel The Adventures of Pinocchio in which the 50-year-old actor himself played the title character.

Burn After Reading - one of the Coen Brothers’ funniest movies, a comedy about very stupid people who think they’re smart. The star-studded cast with George Clooney, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Tilda Swinton, Richard Jenkins and Brad Pitt, the story involves a mix-up in the world of espionage, but that set-up merely exists so the Coens can punish a bunch of fools.

Although Ali may not be Michael Mann’s best movie, but like all Michael Mann movies, it’s definitely worth watching. Will Smith gives a genuinely great performance as legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, showing Ali’s rise and various personal problems over the years.

Dom is an eight-part crime thriller set during the war on drugs in Brazil. Set across two timelines, it traces the battle between a father and son who find themselves on opposite sides of the law. It's a complex tale of morality and criminality, which looks likely to be a great binge-watch for fans of shows like Narcos or Breaking Bad.
